In the West Bengal region of India, this study evaluates the effectiveness of Talash’s Personal Safety Programme designed to prevent sexual violence against the regions most vulnerable and marginalized women and girls.
Talash works in the field of personal safety to prevent sexual violence and provide healing and redressal to survivors of sexual violence. Through a range of personal safety trainings and tools, Talash facilitates the transformation of extremely marginalized young girls and women so that they can tap into their their own agency and recognize, prevent and address sexual violence in their own lives as well as in their communities.
